Samsung’s Tizen OS has been in development since early 2012. The operating system is written in HTML5, C, C++ and is an Open-source operating system. Though we have seen some glimpse of it in a hardware, they were never intended for mass release. But today the Korean mobile manufacturer giant Samsung Electronics released Samsung Z4 with Tizen 3.0. Let’s see what it offers.
It has a cheap plastic body design with body dimension of 132.9 x 69.2 x 10.3 mm (5.23 x 2.72 x 0.41 in) and weighs 143 g. There are two SIM options with a Single and Dual SIM model.
Samsung Z4 features 4.5 inches capacitive touchscreen display with 62.7% screen to body ratio. It has a screen resolution of 480*800 pixels which counts to 207 PPI pixel density with multitouch support.
Processor and Storage
It houses Quad-core 1.5 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is 8Gb and can be expanded up to 128Gb with microSD card using SIM 2 slot.
For the camera, the primary camera is a 5MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture with dual-LED flash. It is also capable of shooting 720p @ 30fps and other features like face detection, panorama, HDR, and Geo-tagging are also available. The secondary (front facing) camera is also a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and has a LED flash.
Connectivity and Security
It is a 4G enabled smartphone and with VoLTE, and VoWIFI, Samsung Z4 offers faster network connectivity. Simple connectivity like WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, and Radio are available.

Z4 comes with a removable Li-Ion 2050 mAh battery also features micro USB 2.0 with USB OTG support. Samsung Z4 runs on homemade Tizen operating system 3.0.
