Recently there are controversies about fake news and promotion of false news by media. With more than 2 billion websites on the web, it is hard to find the truth and actual news. It uses the best of artificial intelligence to find the best news/story that you may find interesting. Embracing the new Material UI 2.0, this news app looks beautiful. When you’re in the app “For You” section is where you’ll find topics that are personalized for your experience. There you’ll also find briefing where you’ll be served top five news that is hot and changes according to time. In Headlines tab you’ll see local contents from local publishers and news providers. Following it, you’ll see favorites and newsstand where you can see news from your favorites and select your news sources respectively.

Google News also downloads articles for you to read when offline. You can it to download news when using WIFI or while using data. Settings like changing your language and region, notification setting, Data saving mode, etc are present.

Personally, I have been using Google News for about a week. I had a hard time following news especially when you have to search for it, browse the web and look for new websites and news portals. Now it has been 20% less effort as this app shows and lets me follow the news. Cheers 🙂
