OnePlus, at their OnePlus 6 launch event launched two products. OnePlus 6, the smartphone and OnePlus Bullets, wireless earbud. It was unexpected but was a pleasant surprise as, multiple OEM are removing 3.5mm headphone jack, OnePlus Bullets look more practical than other earbuds. This is a good move from OnePlus as this will help people get pulled to wireless technologies according to their will.

The earphone is magnetic control, clipping together the earbuds will pause the music and retracting them with resume it. It also has Google Assistant built-in, which connects to your phone to return the result.

Talking about battery, the standby of the battery is 255 hours with talk time and playback time is 10.5hrs and 8hrs respectively. 10 minutes of charge will provide you with about 5 hours of playback time. It supports different Bluetooth profiles like HFP/A2DP/HSP/AVRCP and offers AptX as default Bluetooth audio codec.

Bullet wireless is designed to withstand damages from rain, sweat and water splashes but is not water resistant. Audio is the main focus for OnePlus, Qualcomm® aptXTM helps preserve sound data to ensure the best possible audio quality. They are using Energy Tube to minimize the distortion while including premium 9.2mm drivers for a fuller, richer bass experience. Following video shows the mechanics that Bullets use to minimize the distortion. OnePlus Bullets starts shipping on June 5th with a price tag of $69.
